ÁKOS RÓZMANN 'Mass' (SOMA044) This unreleased masterpiece will be out on May 28th, 2022. Deluxe 7CDs box set and digital formats.
'Mass' consists of twelve electroacoustic compositions created between 1989 and 2004 in the composer’s studio and at EMS in Stockholm. Like most of Rózmann’s compositions, Mass is a long-form work with a duration of around seven hours.
The 7 CD’s are packaged in a hardcover slipcase with a pull ribbon, including 12 and 20 pages booklets. The booklets contain an extensive essay on the composition by Gergely Loch and additional texts by Göran Bergendal and Mats Lindström, and visual documentations.
At this occasion, we are also repressing a final run of 12 Stations (SOMA021). Both are now available to preorder now via the Ideologic Organ bandcamp page.
Félicia Atkinson forthcoming record "Image language" (SP140) will be released on June 24th, 2022. Recorded between La Becque in Switzerland and our home in normandy. Out on limited white and regular 2xLPs / CD and digital downloads.
Image Language is an environmental record, in the vastest sense of the world. It is about getting lost in places imagined and real; it registers, too, the dizzying feeling of moving between such sites. It puts forth a concept of self that is hopelessly entangled with the rest of the world, born of both the ache of distance and the warmth of proximity.
